From the towering banks of the Tagus River to the fertile valleys of the Jerte, every step will bring you closer to an incomparable adventure.

Our journey begins in the charming town of Alcántara, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest. This historic enclave, located on the border with Portugal, treasures a vast monumental and natural heritage that will take your breath away. Here you will have the opportunity to relax, dress up for a special night, and delight in an exquisite typical dish at a local restaurant. The return to the accommodation will be the perfect finale to your first day.

Upon waking, a revitalizing breakfast awaits you to prepare body and soul before exploring the hidden treasures of Alcantara. The Convent of San Benito, with its majestic architecture from the fifteenth century, will transport you to the heart of the Military Order of Alcántara. Afterwards, you will witness the greatness of the Orders of Chivalry at the Identity Center, located in the monumental church of the Conventual. The day culminates with a spectacular visit to the Mirador de la Presa y la Cantera, where you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. After a regional meal in a local restaurant, we will say goodbye to Alcántara to continue to the next Magical Town: Garrovillas de Alconétar. Its picturesque streets and old mansions will be the perfect backdrop for your afternoon. At the end of the day, a typical dinner will put the finishing touch to a day full of discoveries.

The next morning begins with a new chapter in Garrovillas de Alconétar, where the Roman Bridge of Alconétar will tell you stories of past centuries, and the Plaza de la Constitución, with its 20 granite arcade houses, will offer you a unique view of traditional architecture. The church of San Pedro, a mixture of Romanesque and Gothic elements, will be the ideal closing before enjoying a delicious regional meal. Then, the trip will take us to the charming Cabezuela del Valle, known for its historic center declared a Historic-Artistic Site and its dreamlike natural landscapes. Here, the mix of history and nature will leave you in awe before you end the day with a dinner that reflects the authenticity of the place.

At dawn, you will set out to explore Cabezuela del Valle, strolling through its old town and discovering the labyrinthine beauty of its streets. In the Plaza Portal Nuevo, you will be enveloped by the local atmosphere before savoring another typical food that will make your palate vibrate.
